Rain, Threatening Weather Stops ABC Races By Nick Gima

June 11, 2005; Ashland, WI: -   ABC Raceway officials waited as long as they dared before cancelling Saturday night¹s Xtreme Sign & Graphix-sponsored racing program.

    A fog bank from the west rolled in at about 4:40 pm, followed soon after by a light rain which dampened the speedway grounds and soaked a well-prepared track.

    Saturday marked the third rain-out at Ashland in five scheduled race nights.

    Racing resumes on Saturday, June 18, with the fourth annual Bad River Lodge & Casino Modified Triple-Header. "Racenight Live: will air from 5-6:30 pm Saturday on WJJH, 96.7 & 102.3 FM, with raceday news and weather updates.
